I have been a personal trainer for almost 10 years and have been a traveling trainer, worked for a big gym, a small studio but ultimately have decided that I want to be my own boss and work for myself, set my own hours but most importantly continue helping people on their fitness journey . . . whatever that may be. For some it is weight loss, others strength, stability, flexibility . . . or just keeping active.
For those of you that don’t really know my history, I’m the girl who cut gym class, hated it, never played sports - although most people think that I played sports. Nope, I was a VERY good spectator. So this isn’t something that has been in my blood my whole life. It is something that I started getting passionate about 25 years ago and ultimately decided to become a personal trainer. I love working with people and helping them feel confident about themselves, getting them started with a program. Even if it is as simple as getting them to walk - for some people, getting 5,000 steps in a day is a challenge. My clients range in age from 25 - 65, both men and women. I love what I do and love helping people to hit goals that they never thought they could achieve.
